What movies do you think are going to be big blockbuster hits of this summer and which movies do you think are going to be D.O.A.?

This is always fun guessing, so I will give it a shot. Aside from Star Wars, I would say Batman Begins, Charlie and War of the Worlds. Dark Water, Cave and Red Eye look like good horror flicks too. Dont think Herbie will do well. Wedding Crashers looks fun.

I'll add Madagascar to the list of hits.
Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants has potential. A lot of youths I have spoken with are aware of it at least...

I'll add The Longest Yard to the list. I think Herbie will do well, kinda like Scooby Doo did.

How about CINDERELLA MAN, STEALTH, and can we count THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED, that looked good in the trailers.

Herbie should be good. War of the Worlds, Longest Yard, Charlie of course!

What about Bewitched? I want to see that, but I'm old!

Wedding Crashers will be the Something About Mary......... I think........

Don't forget Shark Boy and Lava Girl!

What seems very clear to me is there is a lot of good movies for everyone's taste.

Misses: I've read a bunch of negative stuff about Fantastic Four. The trailer looks decent but I just don't know.....

Saw Shark Boy/Lava Girl - biggest pile of crap I've ever seen ... it plays like it was written by a 6-year-old.

Shark Boy is the worst stay away if you can along with Herbie and Wedding Crashers!

I am getting a good vibe about Wedding Crashers from a lot of people who have seen the trailer. It is the ony strong comedy coming out around that time on July 15 and probably will do weel for a few weeks.

Take back my Herbie projection. Found out it is tied in with Nascar and has a built in audience with that. It may do better than I thought. Plus it is good clean fun that will generate repeat viewings of the youngsters.
