Searching
How does the search feature work?
- All searches are treated as an exact phrase search, meaning that if you intend to search for "Colonial Theatre" those words must appear in that exact order in the business name or in their description.
- If you wish to search for words located anywhere within the document in no particular order you will need to use the 'and' operator. For example to search for "Colonial Theatre Maine" with all of the words existing in the document in any order you would need to enter:
Colonial and Theatre and Maine
Other basic operators available are 'not', 'or' and 'near'.
- Your searches will be case-insensitive. The query "Colonial" will return "Colonial", "colonial" or even "CoLoNiAl".
- Your queries will be put through another useful feature called the stem table. A search such as "film" will return "film", "filming", "filmed", "filmer" and "films"

- We list basic business information at no charge.
- We Charge $240 for an annual link to your web site, entry of 50 keywords and a 250 character description of your business
How do I get my business listed?
- Getting your business listed is a very easy process. First click on the Ad Listing Icon. Here you will find two options. The first option is titled Free Information. Like it says, its really Free! Fill in the information asked for and then go to the bottom of the page and click on Add New Company, or if you want to add further information go to Enhanced Listing Information. For a annual fee of $240.00, $20.00 a month you fill in this information also. When it is completed click on Add New Company.
How do I update my businesses information?
- To update your current information first click on the Update Listing Icon. In the Free Information field enter your business name and contact. This is so we can verify your update information. All you have to do after you enter your business and contact is to make your changes. When you finish click on Update Company Information at the bottom of the page.
How do I find businesses?
- There are two ways you can find a business that may be in our directories. First you can use the Directory Search. Enter the name of the company that you are looking for then click on Search. It may be beneficial in some cases to just use the first name of the company when using this option. Secondly you can search by category by scrolling down the category you wish to search and simple clicking on it. This will bring up all the businesses in the directory under that heading.
How am I billed?
- You will be billed a flat rate of $240.00 annually, just $20.00 a month, for the use of the Enhanced Listing Information option. The bill will be send to you through the mail.
If I use your Enhanced Listing Information option do I have to sign for a year?
- You don't have to sign for a full year. You can also sign for a six month listing at $120.00. You will be billed through the mail.
